Kaznickel LLP is actively engaged in the development of the Gornostayevskoye cobalt-nickel ore deposit located in the Abay region of Kazakhstan.

This endeavor began with an initial geological study, followed by CSA Global's release of a Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) report, a Scoping Study, and a Competent Person’s Report (CPR) in June 2019.

In 2019, a pilot plant was constructed, boasting a production capacity of 120 tons per year. The actual production operations commenced in 2020, achieving a notable 48.5% nickel concentrate. The pilot plant is slated to continue its operation and development throughout the ongoing development period, which spans from 2020 to 2023.
